Me: "Well, the other one is always with us, too. We just can't see Him."
Beth: "Oh, that's what I meant. God is always with us. The other dad, the daddy who lives at home with us, he's not always here."

Oh, good stuff! I've been trying to get E-man to think of God as the One he can always turn to even when we can't give him attention, etc., but I don't think he gets it much yet. The other day I asked him if he ever talked to God and he said, "No!" like I had asked him some crazy question.
