Our Cramazing May, Episode LV - Views from the Hilton Garden Inn

The next morning, the time had finally come for us to leave our lovely home at the Hilton Garden Inn and move hotels--this time to the Sheraton, where our friends had moved the day before.  Before leaving, I wanted to make sure and get lots of pictures--this place had captured so many of our first memories with Tom.

First, though, Rex really, really wanted me to get a series of pictures with him opening the safe in our room.  If anyone reading knows his dad, you might appreciate these photos...
What was Tom doing during my picture-taking spree?  Sleeping off breakfast, of course!
Photos of our room...
The pictures really don't do the place justice...it was NICE!  As in, I could live there for quite some time if needed!  ;)
This was the view from outside our window...
The hallway and interior lobby area one floor down...
The amazing staff at the hotel restaurant...the man third from left was a manager, we think.  Either way, he was incredibly welcoming and made us feel like royalty every day.
More views of the restaurant/lounge area...
On the other side of that metal detector is the very big and very posh mall that was attached to the hotel...what a great and unexpected setup for adopting parents!
The elevators and hotel lobby...
(Outside, notice the metal detectors required for entrance to the hotel.)
By the time this picture was taken, Rex was SO done!  He was a serious trooper for almost the entire trip, but this moment was one of the few where the waiting and the exhaustion and the constant movement was getting to him...and he was NOT amused by my photography!

Next stop...the Sheraton, one of the two best hotels in New Delhi!  (We're certain that we stayed at the two best hotels...they were both amazing!)
