Jester's Corner: ALS Ice Water Bucket Challenge

Okay, friends...my creative son has been asking me to post this for awhile now--which I said I would do but just keep forgetting. Rex draws a comic strip called "Jester's Corner". (He has changed the name this time around.) Yes, we are a bit late to the party, but awhile back, one of our SITC students challenged all project staff and students to the ALS ice water bucket challenge. Rex took up the challenge in this interesting way. Comic backstory: set in medieval times, Dr. Tech is a character who is ahead of his time, kind of a gadget-guy. In this strip, Dr. Tech has accepted the ALS challenge...keep watching, as there is more to come!

Cross Country, Year 2

Best part of my day yesterday? Cheering Rex on as he began his second year of cross country! He ran 2 miles in 17.33...better than I could do for sure! Way to go, Buddy!

Go, Pack, Go!

It was a weekend of football! Yesterday, our big boys got to go to their first Packer game with Daddy...they had a wonderful time (sort of redundant--Lambeau=fun!) and made some great memories! And the Packers won!!! Go, Pack!

Richie: The Wedding DayOf

It was a really beautiful day...I can't believe that the little baby I knew all those years ago is married now!  I remember the day Richie was born like it was yesterday not that long ago.  He was my first nephew, and becoming an aunt just a few days after my 11th birthday was very special! I love you Richie...you will always be my (big) buddy!

Richie: The Wedding DayBefore

This morning, Mom and I drove over to the nail salon and joined the mother-of-the-groom for Wedding DayBefore pedicures.  The best part is that it was Mama's first pedicure ever!  It was relaxing, and we all enjoyed it...I told Mom that she needs to go back at least every other month when Becky goes.  If I lived in town, I'd be joining them, but the least I can do is encourage it!
